Still, Ocean city was never a destination point for family vacations. The first time I went was for a friend's birthday when I was in high school. We had a great time; however, I was not really impressed with the beach. It was a mix of the actual scenery and the number of people that were there, which I'm not a fan of big crowds. Fast forward to about 10 years. The next time I was technically in Ocean city was the summer of 2019 when a few friends and I were driving back early in the morning coming from Assateague State Park. A friend wanted to get breakfast at a place called Generals' Kitchen. I knew ocean city was a crowed place in the summertime, but I was interested to see what things would be like in the Winter. In January of 2020, I decided to take a solo trip down to see what ocean city would be like. It was a ghost town the moment I arrived. It was my first time seeing a popular vacation spot deserted from visitors from all over. The empty city had a peaceful mood in the atmosphere. The only thing I could hear is the Ocean, and the Seagulls call., nothing else. Since this trip, I have taken trips by myself to locations where I find myself being alone. Since I was little, I've lived in Baltimore city, and something is always going on no matter what part you're in. This has encouraged me to take a break from the busy life of Baltimore. The goal is to be alone with my thoughts and show the peaceful atmosphere in front of my camera.
