Under Armour: The Goal

A few weeks ago my close friend and Crossfit athlete Sarah Cook came in town to visit family and friends. Sarah has been  training for CrossFit in San Diego,California. It was a pleasure to see her, but she had one goal on her mind. The goal is to become a Under Armour athlete.

Shooting this session really opened my eyes to really see what goes on behind the scenes for Crossfit athletes. The handwork and dedication can be really inspiring. Sarah kept me on the tip of my toes as she went from one workout to another. Not knowing what was going to come next was so exciting for me.

The images I captured made me realize how proud I am of her and how far she has come. This woman has been through hell and back. With the continuing support of her family and friends I know nothing with stop her from reaching her dreams of becoming a Under Armour althete.

Photographing the Bulls Family

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the Bulls family. I was so happy when Lisa contacted me to take photographs of her kids and family members. We went to one of my favorite places in Maryland which was the Jerusalem Mill in Kingsville,Maryland. Fall is here which made it the perfect time to create timeless images in this beautiful weather. I just wanted to share a few pics with you guys from our session.

Fighter Rob Sullivan

Lately I've been itching to get out and shoot more Photojournalism.  My goal was to find someone I can spend a few hours with an just photograph them doing whatever and I did just that. I contacted a few people and my good fiend Robin recommended me to a Fighter named Rob Sullivan.

Rob Sullivan is a MMA fighter from Essex,Maryland. Rob currently has a record of 3-1 and plans to improve his record with his next upcoming fight in Rhode Island in March.

The time I spent photographing him was interesting because I've never tried anything like this before. I didn't know what was to be expected but whatever it was I planed to capture it through images. The action was very fast paced but it kept me moving and trying to predict what was going to happen next. Big thanks to Rob Sullivan and the Baltimore BJJ for allowing me to do this.
